Zusammenfassung der Episode

Another weekend of Premier League football is in the books and Arsenal have returned to the top of the table. Sam and Crooky are joined by former Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam to dissect all the action starting at Anfield where Arsenal nullified Liverpool's expensively assembled forward line to return to the top of the table, will they remain there? Brighton remain right in the mix after picking up their first ever Premier League win away at the Emirates, there's high praise once again for the Seagulls. As for Man City, that's now back to back defeats and what is going on with Rayan Cherki? The Frenchman once again had to settle for a spot on the bench, Charlie tells us why both he and Haaland cannot both start in the same side. Elsewhere we discuss if Saturday's red card will be the final nail in the coffin for Lisandro Martinez' career at Man United And at the bottom of the table there's three managers, including Oliver Glasner, who will be lucky to be in a job after the international break. Carrick limps on, Arsenal's winger crisis & where's Estevao?

After a busy midweek int he League Cup, Sam, Crooky and Troy look ahead to a big weekend of Premier League football Michael Carrick has been given a stay of execution at Man United and has cleared the air with captain Bruno Fernandes, can he put a difficult couple of weeks behind him when he heads to Stamford Bridge? As for Chelsea, they are out of the League Cup after losing a penalty shootout to Liverpool, Xabi Alonso made a number of changes for that game but there was still no sign of Estevao, and Troy wonders if he is showing enough in training to warrant selection by his manager. Elsewhere, Arsenal head to Anfield off the back of losing to League 2 Fleetwood in the cup. Max Dowman will not be part of the squad for that game after being send off midweek, and it now looks like the Champions have a crisis in the final third of the pitch. Plus, Spurs can make it three wins on the bounce when they host Palace, and can Brighton show what they're made of away at Man City? Instagram: @talkSPORT Twitter:…

Carrick on the brink at Man United after Bournemouth defeat

It's Groundhog Day at Old Trafford, and another manager is on the brink of losing his job. Sam, Crooky and Troy unpack yet another horror show from Man United, this time at home to Bournemouth who hammered them 3-0 in their own back yard. Michael Carrick is still in charge at the time of recording but his hopes of holding onto his job look slim, we ask what impact replacing him will have, and who is actually mad enough to take on the job? Away from Old Trafford there's plenty of praise for Liverpool who picked up their first home win of the season against red hot Brighton, we ask why Xabi Alonso ignored Danny Welbeck in Chelsea's defeat over Spurs and Villa's new boys put an end to Man City's perfect start. More misery for Man Utd, Liverpool's Brighton test, and can Spurs stun Chelsea?

Another midweek of Champions League football and another bombshell interview surrounding Man United. Sam, Crooky and Troy unpack Man United''s defeat away in Como and the interview afterwards from skipper Bruno Fernandes who questioned the tactics of manager Michael Carrick, Crooky tells us the atmosphere at Old Trafford this weekend has the potential to be toxic when Bournemouth come to town. Elsewhere can new look Aston Villa end Man City's 100% start to the season? The guys have been very impressed with how Unai Emery has rebuilt his squad after a turbulent summer. Plus, we ask if Spurs can build on their first win of the season away at rivals Chelsea, are Brighton in the title race if they beat Liverpool? And who will prevail in the battle of two under pressure managers when Crystal Palace play Newcastle. Instagram: @talkSPORT Twitter: @talkSPORT YouTube Website Hosted on Acast. Encouragement for Man Utd, boring boring Arsenal, City go 7 wins from 7

Sam, Crooky are Troy debrief another eventful weekend of Premier League action where Man City remain top and with their 100% record in tact, Arsenal sit behind them but are far from convincing and could Brighton gatecrash the title race after they demolished Crystal Palace and scored the goal of the season in doing so! We also ask if Man United's draw away at Leeds was a step in the right direction after a turbulent week at the club, Crooky is concerned that they can only seem to turn up for 'big' games. Troy and Sam both ask why the Premier League has gotten so soft after we saw four red cards across the weekend and there's some heroes and villains too!
